When precision and reliability matter, the Rotary Switch SR16 delivers performance that flight enthusiasts and commercial flight schools can trust. Offering various rotary control switch options, the SR16 line includes both standard and specially modified variations — tailored to fit diverse cockpit and control panel needs.
This rotational switch stands out for its smooth operation and rugged durability, making it ideal for aviation environments where accuracy and endurance are essential. Whether you’re simulating real flight controls or operating complex training equipment, the SR16 offers low contact resistance of only 20 milliohms, ensuring crisp electrical engagement without signal loss.
Flight schools and aviation hobbyists understand that a control switch isn’t just a button — it’s an interface that must respond exactly when needed. The SR16 Rotary Selector offers a tactile feel designed for intuitive handling, providing pilots and students a clear sense of each selected position during use. From adjusting instruments to selecting electrical circuits, these switches respond reliably, contributing to smoother, safer operations.
The SR16 Switch offers design features that meet the rigorous demands of flight training scenarios. Its electrical contact resistance and dielectric properties translate to dependable performance, even under fluctuating environmental conditions. When paired with instrumentation, the SR16 verification of each position allows users to simulate real-world controls closely, empowering learners to build confidence and expertise.
Understanding the importance of resistance and tactile response, the Rotary Dial SR16’s engineering ensures a low and stable resistance range throughout rotations and position changes. This means less signal noise and more accurate readings in your training equipment. Additionally, the switch variations accommodate different configurations and panel requirements, making it adaptable to both commercial flight schools and home simulations.
Worried whether the non-threaded versions will fit your panel? These modified switches are specifically designed for easy integration, saving you time and avoiding complicated installations. Concerned about longevity? The robust build quality and tested dielectric strength affirm the switch’s durability and reliability, even in demanding use cases.
Flight training environments can be tough on equipment, but the SR16’s temperature tolerance from -25°C to 85°C helps ensure stable operation whether you’re managing cabin controls in a heated simulator or chilly hangar.
Don’t settle for less when it comes to precision and reliability in your aviation setups. The Rotary Switch SR16 with its range of options and proven material specs meets the high standards required by commercial flight schools and hobbyists alike. Whether you need standard or modified versions, these switches enhance control accuracy and durability. Shop now and take your flight simulation or training control panels to the next level!
This set includes the front and back panels, all annunciators, knobs, and switch guards.
Note: No electronic components are included. You will need to purchase switches, toggle switches, rotary switches, encoders, or potentiometers separately.
This is a fully functional unit that must be connected via the IDC connector pins on the back of the PCB to a controller board. Programming is required.
Pin layout information is either printed on the PCB or provided in a separate datasheet.
This version comes pre-programmed and USB-ready for use with your preferred flight simulation software.
Simply plug it in, install the provided configuration files, and you’re ready to fly!
Power Supply Note:
Because the panels can be daisy-chained using their power connectors, single-panel products do not include a 12V power adapter. Only one adapter is required to power your entire custom cockpit setup. The power supply is used solely for the backlighting, not for the product’s core functions.
All knobs are high-quality, resin 3D-printed components with realistic designs. They are supplied with a D-shaft fitting.
For modifications or custom requirements, please contact our support team.
The gauges are powered by SG90 servo motors, compatible with most available controller boards. Each unit includes one or two pre-mounted servo motors.
Calibration must be done via your software or firmware.
Where specified, we use 28BY stepper motors with a ULN2003 driver board.
Electronics are available as complete packages or individual components. When selecting a color or type, you will receive the specified quantity of the chosen product.
PCB Only: Includes just the bare PCB. You can order components separately.
PCB + Electronic Components: Includes a blank PCB plus all necessary components for you to solder.
Soldered PCB: Fully soldered and tested by us. Ready to connect to your controller board and program.
