Ever felt limited by your Arduino’s number of input and output pins? Whether you’re customizing a flight simulator or expanding commercial flight school setups, our Multiplexer 16 Connections Input / Output board is your go-to solution. This handy Multiplexer is designed for flight enthusiasts and professionals who want to maximize their system’s capabilities without the hassle of wiring a million extras.
Imagine running a complex overhead panel where every switch, dial, and sensor needs its own connection. With about 12 built-in connections, my own flight simulator barely scratched the surface. That’s where this 16 Connections expansion board comes into play. It seamlessly integrates into your setup, giving your Arduino access to 16 additional input or output channels, all managed through multiplexing technology. This means fewer wires, cleaner builds, and a more streamlined experience.
Designed as a reliable Arduino accessory, this Expansion Board lets you connect 16 inputs or outputs through a single Arduino shield stack. Whether you’re using sensors, buttons, LEDs, or other signals, this 16 Channel Module enables signal multiplexing that simplifies complex wiring and opens up new possibilities for your projects.
Our Multiplexer 16 Connections Input / Output is the key to expanding your control panel without adding bulk or complicated circuitry. Plus, the board’s well-documented setup lets even beginners to Arduino dive right in.
In flight simulation or instruction, having quick access to a wide array of controls is essential. This board expands your Arduino’s capability, enabling you to manage complex input/output arrays with ease. Imagine controlling multiple avionics indicators, switches, or lighting circuits without running thousands of wires – it’s all possible here.
By investing in this Multiplexer Board, you’re not just expanding connections; you’re streamlining your workflow, reducing setup time, and improving reliability. Whether configuring basic input scanning or output signaling, its versatility shines across every project.
Yes! The Multiplexer 16 Connections Input / Output board is designed to accommodate both inputs and outputs, but typically one function at a time per channel. It’s perfect for sensing switches or controlling LEDs, for example.
Most Arduino boards support this expansion. The board uses standard interface pins, ensuring compatibility with popular Arduino variants like Uno, Mega, and Leonardo.
The board works with standard Arduino code libraries. Many users find open-source libraries helpful for multiplexing, but depending on your project, simple digitalRead and digitalWrite commands may suffice.
Designed for both hobbyists and professionals, the board includes detailed instructions. If you’ve handled basic Arduino projects before, connecting and programming the multiplexer is straightforward.
The board maintains excellent signal integrity for standard applications. For extremely sensitive or high-frequency signals, additional shielding or filtering might be recommended.
Ready to take your Arduino-based flight projects to new heights? This Multiplexer 16 Connections Input / Output board offers reliable, efficient expansion that’s both powerful and easy to use. Expand your possibilities with a proven Arduino accessory today and simplify even the most complex control panels. Don’t let limited connections ground your creativity—empower your next flight simulation or educational setup with this versatile, compact expansion board.
This set includes the front and back panels, all annunciators, knobs, and switch guards.
Note: No electronic components are included. You will need to purchase switches, toggle switches, rotary switches, encoders, or potentiometers separately.
This is a fully functional unit that must be connected via the IDC connector pins on the back of the PCB to a controller board. Programming is required.
Pin layout information is either printed on the PCB or provided in a separate datasheet.
This version comes pre-programmed and USB-ready for use with your preferred flight simulation software.
Simply plug it in, install the provided configuration files, and you’re ready to fly!
Power Supply Note:
Because the panels can be daisy-chained using their power connectors, single-panel products do not include a 12V power adapter. Only one adapter is required to power your entire custom cockpit setup. The power supply is used solely for the backlighting, not for the product’s core functions.
All knobs are high-quality, resin 3D-printed components with realistic designs. They are supplied with a D-shaft fitting.
For modifications or custom requirements, please contact our support team.
The gauges are powered by SG90 servo motors, compatible with most available controller boards. Each unit includes one or two pre-mounted servo motors.
Calibration must be done via your software or firmware.
Where specified, we use 28BY stepper motors with a ULN2003 driver board.
Electronics are available as complete packages or individual components. When selecting a color or type, you will receive the specified quantity of the chosen product.
PCB Only: Includes just the bare PCB. You can order components separately.
PCB + Electronic Components: Includes a blank PCB plus all necessary components for you to solder.
Soldered PCB: Fully soldered and tested by us. Ready to connect to your controller board and program.
